The Extra Special Comic
A two-sided mega-issue: car chases, dream sequences, lightsaber duels on the front — and a full-on naval battle on the back side.
The Story
Front side: “I’ll get you back!” A red car chases a blue car through stop signs. Meanwhile, lightsaber duels rage in the grass — “Argggg!” “That was close, oh no!” — and a hero wakes up: “Ah, that was just a dream.” Then prison cells, “got ya!”, “ha!”, a reunion (“I have been looking for you!” “I did not no!”), a ship setting sail (“Let’s go!”), a landing (“We’re here!” “We made it!” clap clap), and one last dungeon escape (“Oh!” “Ayyy!” “I lost my weapon!” “Too late!”).
BACK SIDE: “Water!” The ships clash in the open sea — boom, boom — cannons, sails on fire, “help!” someone yells from a sinking deck. “You take it!” “Duck!” “Oh no!” “Chomp!” a sea monster shows up. Below the waves: “gloop”, “glurp”, “ggrrr!”. Then prisoners in cells, a happy family portrait, and the headline: “Daily News — We won!” Final word: “he left the door open!”
